These terms govern your use of the Nextworth app and website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
The most important one. Nextworth is an information tool, not an adviser. Nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and every investment decision you make is your own. Nextworth is not a registered investment adviser or a broker-dealer.
Nextworth displays a portfolio you describe to us — either by entering holdings yourself or, on a paid plan, by connecting a brokerage account read-only — and presents market data and AI-generated commentary about it.
Nextworth never executes trades and never moves money. Brokerage connections request read access only. We could not place an order on your behalf even if you asked us to.
All content in Nextworth — including portfolio health grades, regime signals, forecasts, conviction leans, and everything The Captain says — is informational and educational only. It is general in nature, is not tailored to your circumstances, and is not personalised investment, legal, or tax advice.
Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. AI-generated analysis may be confidently incorrect. Past performance says nothing about future results. You may lose money. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and you should consider speaking to a qualified financial adviser before making them.
Nextworth depends on third parties — SnapTrade for brokerage connectivity, Stripe for payments, Financial Modeling Prep for market data, Google Gemini for AI analysis, Supabase and Vercel for infrastructure. Your use of a connected brokerage remains governed by your agreement with that broker. We are not responsible for their outages, errors, or acts, though we'll do our best to tell you when something is broken.
We aim to keep Nextworth running but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice and stop billing you.
Your holdings and messages remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to store your data, process it to produce the app's output, and transmit the necessary parts to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership and we don't sell it.
The Nextworth name, design, interface, and software are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use the app; you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute it.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nextworth is not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
You can stop using Nextworth and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we'll update the date above and notify you by email. Continuing to use Nextworth after a change means you accept it.
