Nextworth is a portfolio app. It shows you what you own and what the market is doing. To do that it has to hold some information about you. This page says exactly what, exactly why, and exactly who else sees it.
The short version. We store your email address and the holdings in your book. We never see your brokerage password, we never receive your card number, and we can never place a trade or move money — every brokerage connection is read-only. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
Nextworth ("we", "us") operates the Nextworth mobile application and this website. For any privacy question, or to ask us to delete your data, contact support@nextworth.com.
Where the UK GDPR / EU GDPR applies, our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (holding your email and holdings so the app can function and your subscription can run), legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, fixing faults), and consent (connecting a brokerage, which you choose to do and can withdraw).
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers below, each of which is contractually limited to processing it on our behalf:
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Accounts and database | Email address, your holdings, subscription status |
| Stripe | Subscription payments | Email address, payment details you enter with them directly |
| SnapTrade | Read-only brokerage connectivity | Brokerage authorisation; returns your positions to us |
| Financial Modeling Prep | Market prices | Ticker symbols only — never tied to you or your quantities |
| Google (Gemini) | The Captain's AI analysis | The ticker or question you submit — see below |
| Vercel | Hosting | Standard request and error logs |
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect the safety or rights of our users.
The Captain (ticker research and Captain Chat) is powered by Google's Gemini models. When you research a ticker or send a chat message, that ticker or message is transmitted to Google to generate a response. Do not put information in Captain Chat that you would not want to leave our systems.
The Captain produces informational and educational content generated from market data and AI analysis. It is not personalised investment advice, and Nextworth is not a registered investment adviser. AI output can be wrong. What you do with any read is entirely your own decision.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your data protection regulator. To exercise any of these, email support@nextworth.com and we will respond within 30 days.
You can delete individual holdings yourself at any time in Profile, and disconnect a brokerage at any time.
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Brokerage credentials issued to us are stored server-side only and are never sent to the app. Our per-user database tables deny access to every client role by default — only our backend can read them. No system is perfectly secure, but we have designed this one so that the most sensitive things (your broker password, your card) are never in our custody in the first place.
Nextworth is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where required, those transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
